Context belongs on the call screen

A call screen should make the next decision easier, not ask agents to memorize a CRM record or switch tabs mid-conversation.

The right context is different for every team

A useful call screen has to answer a few immediate questions: who is this, what do we already know, and what should we capture before the next call? Too little context leaves a rep guessing. Too much turns the conversation into a search through fields.

Dial Amp lets workspace administrators configure shared Lead and Contact call-screen layouts using available Zoho CRM data. Agents see the layout their team prepared, with selected context and supported editable fields available while they call. The point is not to reproduce every CRM screen in miniature; it is to put the most useful information where the conversation happens.

Capture a decision while it is fresh

Notes are easiest to write while the call is still in mind. Likewise, a field update makes more sense when it is tied to the outcome the rep just chose. Dial Amp keeps these steps close together so the person calling does not have to reconstruct what happened later.

A rep can review context, add call notes, make supported field edits, and choose a disposition from the call workflow. Configured CRM changes are committed with that disposition rather than silently treating every keystroke as a completed update. That distinction helps the screen remain a place to work, not an accidental source of half-finished records.

A shared screen still needs room for judgment

A team can agree on the fields and actions that matter without removing the rep’s judgment from the call. The layout supports the conversation; the rep still decides what to say, what note is useful, and which outcome is accurate.

That is the balance we aim for: a consistent workspace for the team, enough CRM context for the individual, and a clear handoff when the call ends. Better calling is not only about how quickly the next number is dialed.
