Stop losing leadsafter one unanswered call.
Dial Amp Retry Queues bring eligible leads back for another attempt after your admin-set cool-off period—so your team keeps following up while the opportunity is fresh.

One call isn’t a follow-up strategy.
People miss calls. They’re in meetings, driving, working—or simply don’t recognize the number.
But if someone just submitted an inquiry to your business, they’ve already told you they’re interested. One unanswered call shouldn’t be the end of your follow-up.
In Dial Rules, admins decide how persistent the team should be:
- Maximum calls per daySet a daily limit for each eligible record.
- Cool-off periodChoose how long before a retry becomes eligible.
- Which outcomes trigger a retryEnable No Answer and/or Voicemail.
- Leave a voicemail once—not on every retryWith the daily voicemail limit enabled, Dial Amp blocks a second voicemail drop to the same contact that day—even on retry attempts. It’s on by default, and admins can change it in Dial Rules. Each day follows your account’s timezone, so your team can keep following up without leaving the same message again.
Dial Rules
Account-wide retry and voicemail rules. These apply across all dial sessions.
Missed them? Try again when the time is right.
When the cool-off period ends, the lead becomes eligible for another attempt. The assigned agent can add ready retries to a dialing session and keep working through leads that still need a conversation.
Dial Amp shows the retry, attempt count and previous outcome, so agents know exactly where each lead stands.
Every retry stays with the right agent.
Retry ownership stays with the agent who made the original call, while admins keep visibility across the entire team.
No wondering who’s following up. The original caller owns the retry by default.
Review team queues, dismiss pending retries, or explicitly reassign them to an active dialing teammate. Only the assigned agent starts a retry.
Once a lead reaches the daily maximum, it won’t be available for another retry that day. The limit counts all calls, including the first—not just retries.
Admins can dismiss or reassign pending retries. Only the assigned agent can start a retry.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which call outcomes can add a record to the Retry Queue?
Admins can configure Add to Retry Queue when outcome is: No Answer and Voicemail. A retry becomes selectable after its configured cooling-off period, if it remains eligible under the daily limit.
Who can select or dismiss a retry?
Retries initially belong to the agent whose call created them. Agents can act only on retries assigned to them. Admins can review the team’s queues, dismiss pending retries, or explicitly reassign them to an active teammate with dialing access. Only the assigned agent can start the retry; viewing a queue does not transfer ownership.
What does the daily call limit count?
It counts all outbound attempts for that Zoho module-and-record identity on the account-local day, not just retry calls. A retry that reaches its source day’s maximum stays retired after midnight; it is not carried forward automatically.
Where do agents review eligible retries?
Agents can review ready and cooling-off records, including attempt counts, in the Retry Queue tab of Dial Session Setup and select eligible retries for a normal dial session. Due retries can join the originating session only after its first pass through the initial contacts, and only while the daily call limit and configured cool-off period allow them. Readiness never starts a call automatically.
Don’t waste a lead because they missed one call.
Keep fresh inquiries moving until your team gets the conversation—not just the first voicemail.
