Find a number that fits your market.

Search available business numbers by country, region and area code, then add eligible numbers directly to your Dial Amp workspace.

Purchased numbers become part of your organization's caller ID pool, ready to use across outbound Dial Amp sessions.

LOCAL MATCH

Call local. Automatically.

People are more likely to recognize a familiar area code. With Local Match, Dial Amp checks the phone number of the contact you're calling and automatically looks for an eligible number in your organization's number pool with a matching area code.

When an area-code match is available, Dial Amp uses that number as the caller ID. Otherwise, it checks for a number in the same state or province before using your configured fallback caller ID, then any enabled local number.

CALLER ID STRATEGY

Choose what happens when there isn't a local match.

Admins can set a fallback caller ID in Settings. Agents can use Local Calling or a specific caller ID in Dial Session Setup, so they don't have to choose a number before every call.

Use your numbers for outbound calls. Route the callbacks too.

Manage active and released numbers, see how each number is configured, control Local Match availability, and choose where incoming callbacks should go.

Give callbacks somewhere to go

Forward incoming calls to a destination your team already answers.

Know what forwarding does—and doesn't do

Forwarding handles incoming calls to your Dial Amp number; it doesn't replace your existing phone system.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Local Match?

Local Match checks the contact’s phone number and looks for an eligible number in your Dial Amp number pool with a matching area code. When one is available, Dial Amp can use it as the outbound caller ID.

What happens if there isn’t a matching local number?

Local Match first checks for an area-code match, then a number in the same state or province. If neither is available, it tries your configured fallback caller ID, then any enabled local number. Coverage depends on the numbers in your organization’s pool.

Do I need to buy a number for every area code?

No. Local Match uses eligible numbers already in your organization’s number pool. You decide which markets you want to maintain numbers in.

Can I buy numbers during the free trial?

No. Purchasing managed numbers requires a paid plan. Number purchases are not included in the free trial. See the Pricing page for current number pricing; phone and carrier costs are separate.

Can I pick a number by location?

Admins can search by country, region, and area code. Availability and eligibility depend on the location and current inventory; a specific number or local match cannot be guaranteed.

How does Local Match choose a caller ID?

It checks the contact’s area code, then the same state or province, then the configured fallback caller ID, and finally any enabled local number. Coverage depends on the numbers in your pool.

Can people call a Dial Amp number back?

Admins can forward incoming calls to a purchased Dial Amp number to one configured external destination. It is not browser-based inbound calling, a call menu, or an inbound CRM workflow. This setting does not forward calls to an externally verified caller ID.

Does buying a number include texting?

No. SMS is an optional paid add-on and also requires an eligible number and A2P registration. Only one designated texting number per organization is supported; number and carrier costs are separate.

Can I use an existing business number as caller ID?

Eligible existing numbers can be verified for outbound caller ID use. Verification does not port or transfer the number to Dial Amp, and calls or texts back to that number continue to go to its existing provider.
