So long as you have enabled recording and connected WorkDrive, Dial Amp automatically adds the recording link to the Zoho call activity once the audio is ready. Your configured disposition rules can also update Zoho CRM fields.
Log the call.
Update the right fields in Zoho CRM.
Logging the activity and updating a CRM field are different jobs. Configure your disposition rules to change the right Lead or Contact fields when an agent selects an outcome.
For example, a “Meeting booked” disposition can update Lead Status to “Meeting Scheduled.” Without a matching configured rule, saving the call does not change that status.
Call history for agents.
Visibility for admins.
In Dial Amp, agents review their own Zoho CRM call history, while admins can review the team’s. See outcomes, durations, eligible retries, available recordings and Zoho sync status.
Open a dial session to see individual calls, saved dispositions and durations. Summary cards show your calling activity, while session totals distinguish contacts attempted, call attempts and live answers—so repeat calls are not mistaken for new contacts.
Call records show whether their Zoho activity is Synced, Syncing, Failed or Sync missing. The Errors tab groups unresolved Zoho & Workflow Issues separately from Call Failures, so you can review the reported problem and retry supported actions where available.
Review unsuccessful call attempts with the contact, number, time and available failure details. Dismiss entries you have already investigated, individually or in bulk, without deleting the original call history.
The Retry Queue shows which contacts are eligible for another attempt and which are ready to call. Select the records to include in a new dial session, with eligibility governed by your configured attempt limits and cooling-off periods.
Open individual calls to review recordings when recording was enabled and the audio is available. Recording availability is tracked separately from the Zoho call activity; the CRM record does not have to wait for the recording to be ready.
Download call details as a CSV, including the caller ID used, for reporting or further review. Agents see their own call history, while admins can review the team’s records.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Dial Amp automatically log calls in Zoho CRM?
Yes. Saving a disposition after a call attempt triggers creation of a Closed Call activity on the linked Lead or Contact. You do not need to enter the call manually in Zoho CRM.
What details does Dial Amp log in Zoho CRM?
The call activity can include the outcome, duration, start time and notes. Caller ID, the dialed number and agent context are included in the activity description. The activity remains linked to the original Lead or Contact.
Can Dial Amp update Zoho CRM fields after a call?
Yes, when an admin has configured a field-update rule for the selected disposition. For example, a Meeting booked disposition can update Lead Status to Meeting Scheduled. Creating a call activity alone does not change other CRM fields.
Are call recordings attached to the Zoho CRM activity?
Yes. When recording is enabled and WorkDrive is connected, Dial Amp automatically adds the recording link to the Zoho call activity after the audio is processed. This happens after the call activity is created; no manual attachment is needed.
Can admins review the team’s call history?
Yes. Agents see their own calls in Dial Amp, while admins can review the team’s call records. Call History shows sync status separately, including unresolved Zoho issues.
What happens if a Zoho sync or call attempt fails?
The Errors tab in Dial Amp Call History separates Call Failures from Zoho & Workflow Issues. Review available error details and retry supported Zoho actions where available. The Retry Queue separately shows contacts eligible for another call attempt.
