Dial Amp / After a call
Use the Dial Amp retry queue
Review scheduled retries, select eligible calls, and start a session with the contacts you are allowed to retry.
Purpose-built for Zoho CRM
What you’ll accomplish
The result
The Retry Queue organizes scheduled calls by when they are ready. An agent can select only ready retries assigned to that agent; administrators have broader team filters.
Before you begin
- Your Dial Amp workspace has scheduled retry records.
- You are signed in as the agent assigned to the retries, or as an administrator with access to team filters.
- You know whether you want to start a session from history or use selected retries during setup.
Access to have ready
Use an account with permission to access the Zoho CRM records and Dial Amp settings needed for these steps. The right access depends on your organization’s setup; ask your CRM administrator if you’re unsure.

Step-by-step instructions
Work through the steps in order. Each number marks an action in this tutorial.
Open Call History
In Dial Amp, open Call History and select the Retry Queue tab. The other tabs are Session History and Errors.
Choose a retry time filter
Use All, Ready now, Today’s calls, or Earlier calls to narrow the queue. Administrators can also use team or user filtering where available.
Select the retries you can work
Select ready retries assigned to your user. Agents cannot select or dismiss another user’s retries; administrators can filter all or team retries.
- Use Dismiss to remove a scheduled retry you no longer need.
Start a session from Call History
With eligible retries selected, click Start Dial Session to open a session using those contacts.
Or use selected retries in session setup
You can also choose imported/retry contacts as Contact Source in session setup. Review the selected contacts and use Use Selected for the eligible retries; use Dismiss Selected only when you intend to remove those scheduled retries.
You’re done when…
Check your result
- The queue filter shows the retries you intended to review.
- You can select only eligible ready retries assigned to your user, unless you are an administrator.
- The contacts you selected appear in the session launched from the queue or session setup.

Troubleshooting
Why can I see a retry but not select it?
Agents can select only ready retries assigned to the current user. Check the filter and assigned user, or ask an administrator to review the team queue.
Why is a retry not in Ready now?
It may be scheduled for later. Check Today’s calls or Earlier calls to locate it.
What happens when I click Dismiss?
Dismiss removes the scheduled retry. Use it only when you intend to remove that retry from the queue.
