Dial Amp / Getting started
How to call a list in Zoho CRM with Dial Amp
Select Leads or Contacts in Zoho CRM and move through them in a Dial Amp calling session.
Purpose-built for Zoho CRM
What you’ll accomplish
The result
Start with the CRM records you want, launch Dial Amp, and make each call from the ready-to-dial session. A selected CRM list becomes session contacts; Dial Amp does not place calls when you merely open the session.
Before you begin
- Dial Amp is installed and connected to the correct Zoho CRM organization.
- You can access the relevant Leads or Contacts and select the intended records.
- A usable Caller ID and the team’s required disposition configuration are available.
Access to have ready
Use an account with permission to access the Zoho CRM records and Dial Amp settings needed for these steps. The right access depends on your organization’s setup; ask your CRM administrator if you’re unsure.

Step-by-step instructions
Work through the steps in order. Each number marks an action in this tutorial.
Select records in Zoho CRM
Open Leads or Contacts in Zoho CRM and select the records you want in this calling session. Review the selection so you do not launch with an unintended set of records.
Launch Dial Amp
Click the Dial Amp action, then click Launch Dialer. The extension opens a new tab and imports the selected CRM records into Dial Amp setup.
Confirm contacts and session options
Check Contact Source and select the Call Screen, Not Contacted Set, Preset, Live Answer Set, Caller ID, Call Scripts, and Call Survey options that fit the session. Enable Recording only when your organization has approved the recording workflow and its disclosure and privacy prerequisites.
Not Contacted Set is for choices during dialing, before a live conversation; it is not a Zoho Lead status. Live Answer Set applies to live conversations.
Continue to the first contact
Click Continue to open the ready-to-dial session. Confirm that the first contact is the one you expect before placing a call.
Dial and record the outcome
Click Dial when ready. After the call, choose the appropriate disposition. A selected disposition records the completed call activity in Zoho CRM and may run any actions configured for that button.
You’re done when…
Check your result
- The contacts imported into the session match the Zoho CRM records you selected.
- Continue opens the session without dialing; Dial starts the call.
- You choose an accurate disposition after each call.

Troubleshooting
Why are not all the records in my Zoho view in the session?
Dial Amp imports the records selected for the launch. Return to Zoho CRM, select the intended records, and launch again.
Why does clicking Continue not place a call?
Continue opens the ready-to-dial session. Click Dial when you are ready to call the displayed contact.
Which set should I use for a no-answer call?
Use the Not Contacted Set for outcomes before a live conversation. Use the Live Answer Set for a connected conversation.
